The scene
Cholon was once its own city; today it is Saigon’s historic Chinatown. Under the arcades, neon hums over lacquered shopfronts as incense rises from nearby assembly halls.
Street vendors line the wide boulevards beside old-world apothecaries, their drawers filled with dried tangerine peel, ginseng, chrysanthemum, and other traditional herbs.
As the sun drops, the air shifts to spice and smoke; red lanterns take the light as temples slip into the shadows and back alleys come alive. The city’s tempo changes as the pull between ritual and revel builds.
Red Tea, Cherry Rum, Incense, Blond Tobacco
An amber floral fragrance of cinematic seduction - where spiced warmth meets smoky wood and skin-hugging musk. Dark cherry rum infuses the air with hedonistic sweetness, tempered by the warmth of red tea and the curl of incense smoke. Blond tobacco lingers close to the skin, a whisper of seduction that turns the night into memory.

"When I began composing Cholon Social, I wanted to capture the tension between modernity and tradition - the vivid energy of the streets and the intimacy of their hidden corners. I built it around a red tea accord I created myself, weaving leafy, spicy, woody, and smoky notes together.
To that heart, I added a burst of cherry rum, pink ginger, and grapefruit for vibrancy, balanced with the familiar comfort of benzoin, and precious musk. The result is a fragrance that moves like Cholon itself - alive with contrasts, magnetic yet quietly familiar."
