When authenticity becomes a harmony of individuality with Obvious

Outward appearance or heartless façades are no longer desired in today's society. Sincerity and a leisurely pace to re-establish a connection with nature, humans, and the global community are what people truly seek. According to Obvious Parfums' founder, David Frossard, perfume is more than simply a fragrance; it's a subtle art form that enables us to connect with our innermost selves. Obvious Parfums is his response to the crowd, fragrance enthusiasts, and those who value their individuality.

In an over saturated and cliché industry, Obvious Parfums takes a simple yet powerful, straightforward yet explosive, and counter-trend approach. Instead of striving for an untouchable luxury outer shell, the brand values every existing emotion, puts the quality and sustainability of each product at the core, honors freedom as the natural essence of the fragrance and the personality of each individual. Instead of being a dazzling masquerade, perfume now serves as a "totem" that portrays the genuine self, a representation of individuality and freedom.
Each creation of Obvious has its own language, a distinct voice that is never distinct from the rest while still sharing the great chorus of humanity. As the name describes, Obvious offers a tangible, uncomplicated, and obvious experience that is neither showy nor fussy. Here, when everyone is free to live completely as themselves, the beauty doesn't try to be unique; rather, it unfolds organically like breathing.

Obvious Parfums does not grant a throne, but rather creates a rare silence in which fragrance serves as a bridge, connecting individuals to the world and the soul. It reminds us that beauty does not always have to be loud; sometimes it is just a delicately whisper seeping into our heads about things that already exist; all we need is enough peace inside to perceive it. Obvious is the origins and also response, as individuals seek the essence of freedom, to grasp that diversity is cultivated by sincerity rather than complexity, and that when we fully understand ourselves, individuality will naturally speak.

David Frossard got the concept for Obvious Parfums while on a vacation to India, where he took part in a charity race in a small and risky tuk-tuk. Amidst the plastic beaches and personal reflections, he understood the consequences of excessive consumption, as well as the perfume industry's increasing ostentatiousness, where "rarity, exclusivity and bling-bling" frequently simply burden the wearer. Obvious was born from David Frossard's moment of enlightenment. Obvious chose to return to the essential essence of fragrance, a simple, real joy, assisting individuals in becoming themselves in a large world.

Before starting Obvious in 2020, David collaborated for several well-known independent art perfume brands, including Byredo, Juliette Has A Gun, Atelier Cologne, Memo, and BDK Parfums. That experience not only showed him the true worth of creation, but it additionally laid the groundwork for Obvious to become a unique voice in a modern, humane, and liberal perfume brand.
Obvious Parfums creates three "product families" in a colorful creative space: Must-Haves, iconic creations that capture the breath of nature with the most authentic, unique, and primitive poetry; Capsules, where fragrance becomes a metaphor, boldly breaking olfactory standards to open up untouched emotional realms; and High Standards, the embodiment of standard, sophisticated, and liberal luxury, inspired by Gypset's enchanting free lifestyle.
Not only does Obvious create a fragrance, but it also encourages individual creativity, allowing everyone to extend beyond the boundaries of a "perfume bottle." Each person can discover their own distinctive mark, a distinct aroma that expresses their own individuality and independence, thanks to Obvious's creations, which offer an infinite number of combinations through the art of layering. The privilege of living authentically as one's original, distinct self is what Obvious considers to be true luxury, not ostentation.
The fragrances from Obvious are currently on display and available at Parfumélite's store at 63 Tu Xuong. We invite our "đồng hương" to stop by and experience these fragrances and create their own unique scent.
