This fragrance is a translation of PRUE STENT & HONEY LONG’S 2020 Olfactive Journal “LAKE BOTTOM” for FOLIE À PLUSIEURS — OLFACTIVE JOURNAL series.
OLFACTIVE JOURNALS
Over a set period of time, contributing artists capture their quotidian rituals and studio practice via smell. Each entry is an olfactive portrait of that day, a scent document of the works in progress, bubbling thoughts, and immediate surroundings. In this way, Folie À Plusieurs “Olfactive Journals” become memory maps that allow artists and the audience to return, by way of nose, to a specific moment and place in the artist’s creative journey.
